Kirk Investigators

About

A simple guide to the independent investigators.

Why this site

Charlie Kirk was killed on September 10, 2025. Since then, a group of independent podcasters, lawyers and citizen researchers have spent their own time reading filings, studying footage and asking questions. This page honors that work. It presents their arguments as their arguments, next to what courts and officials have said, and it doesn't accuse anyone of a crime.

The case in brief
  • Charlie Kirk, 31, co-founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed on September 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
  • Tyler James Robinson was charged with aggravated murder and six other counts. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
  • On September 1, 2026, Judge Tony Graf sent the case to trial. Robinson pleaded not guilty and is presumed innocent. No one else has been charged.
  • No trial date is set yet. The judge said he would rule on scheduling on November 9, 2026.
How claims are shown

Everything an investigator says is shown as their argument, attributed and linked. None of it is established fact, and none of it is an accusation by this site.

  • Matches record consistent with filings or reporting.
  • Disputed the official record or filings say otherwise.
  • Unverified not independently checked, or an opinion.

Dates for X posts are in Eastern time. Profile photos are each person’s public X profile picture. Follower counts and “last case post seen” dates are as of Oct 26, 2026.

This page reports on what investigators argue. It doesn't make allegations against anyone. If you have a correction or a primary source, please send it.

Some people who've done on-the-ground work reach the opposite conclusion. Gary Melton of Paramount Tactical (@paramounttactcl, X · 44.7K) says UVU's after-action report confirms a single shooter (Oct 3, 2026). Gray Hughes Investigates (@GrayHuze; YouTube · 179K) mapped Robinson's movements (May 2, 2026) and has concluded Robinson was the shooter.
